My first rental property got burned last Monday night. 04/17/2006. I was pretty shocked. At the mean time, I have to thank God that NO one is injured. The whole mobile home I checked today is pretty much beyond repair. During the whole process, it is hard to swallow. The major leason I learned is that you really need to make sure there is a SMOKE DETECTOR and you need to buy the fire distingusher to your tenant. At the meantime, make sure you have enough FIRE damage coverage for the house.
