There are still buyers are there waiting for the bubble to burst so they can get a steal. It is true there are lots of investors out there but they rarely pay over the asking price, whereas buyers who have lost home after home take the plunge and outbid the other buyers.
This is a difficult market to gauge. All the old rules are out of the window. Buyers are in a frenzy and they are exhausted viewing, offering and losing. Investors are waiting in the wings watching the market and picking of what they consider good long term investments. Buyers are all looking for the same type of character house. So it is still a sellers’ market with no signs of slowing down and no signs of the bubble bursting.
