Don’t Fall For The “Guaranteed Bet” Scam

Soon or later on your journey through life, you’ll come across an offer that just seems to good to be true.
Well the truth is, it probably is.
Here’s just one example, known as the “Martingale System”. This has been around for thousands of years, yet even today you’ll see it being peddled as a “guaranteed way to beat the casino”.
It involves placing “evens” bets on either red or black in the game of roulette.
The system is:
Stake 1 unit.
If you lose, double your bet.
Keep doubling your bets until you win, at which point you revert back to betting a single unit.
For example,
Turn Stake Result Balance
1 1 L -1
2 2 L -3
3 4 L -7
4 8 W +1
5 1 L 0
6 2 W +2
It looks great on paper, doesn’t it? You just keep betting and “beating the casino” by racking up those single unit wins.
Except… there’s a problem.
Well two problems, actually:
Problem 1
Sooner or later, you’re going to hit a losing run.
As a fully-fledged compound interest expert, you know you can be doubling up to astronomical levels very quickly.
Let’s say you’re betting dollar units on black. And red comes up 10 times in a row.
Turn Stake Result Balance
1 1 L -1
2 2 L -3
3 4 L -7
4 8 L -15
5 16 L -31
6 32 L -63
7 64 L -127
8 128 L -255
9 256 L -511
10 512 L -1023
So far, you’re down $1,023.
On the next bet (the 11th one), you’d have to stake $1024. And remember, this is to win just $1.
If you lose then your bank balance would be –$2,047.
(All this in about 5 minutes of play.)
Do you think you’d have the nerve to make that kind of bet after a series of losses?
Well the truth is, it probably wouldn’t matter because…
Problem 2
Casinos impose a “house limit”, which is simply a maximum allowable bet of say, $500.
Which blows this strategy – and your money - out of the water.
Incidentally, if you think it unlikely that the same color could appear 10 times in a row like in the example above…
The record for a single color to appear in roulette is… 28 times.
Total cost (assuming a $1 unit stake, and no house limit) would be…:
- $67,108,863
To Summarize:
Forget about gambling.
Conclusion(Rate)n is the essence of all wealth creation.
It’s exactly how ordinary people have become rich, and how they become even richer.
Having read this report, you now have a tremendous insight into the power of compound interest and the mechanics of making money.
But…
As Albert Einstein said: “Information is not knowledge”.
It only becomes knowledge when you mix it with personal experience.
In other words – by taking action.
Now you know the formula for wealth, will you use it?
10 years from now you could be a millionaire, living the life of your dreams.
Or, you could be broke, even worse off than you are now.
Whatever you decide, it’s really your choice.
Isn’t it?
