In 2006, Unilever announced it would relocate operations from the Greenwich building to properties in Trumbull and Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The relocation is expected to begin later this year.

North Idaho real estate market continues to ‘adjust’

COEUR d’ALENE — It was September 2005 when North Idaho’s sizzling real estate market suddenly cooled off.

“There was a noticeable difference quickly,” said Pam McCormick, president of the Coeur d’Alene Multiple Listing Service.

And in 2006, sales never did rise to that feverish pitch of the previous year when homes sold in a few days, multiple offers came in and buyers scrambled after a shrinking house inventory.”We’re all adjusting from that frenzy,” McCormick said.
Which last year meant declining sales, a rising inventory and prices that held steady.

The buyers, founders of a senior-care chain, face complaints from unions the candidate courts.

RISMEDIA, Jan. 19, 2007-An updated remodeling survey of 5,000 homeowners was conducted in the fall of 2006, showing a continuing trend toward large remodels and with an increasing concern for the cost of the remodel.

All participants in the survey were considering remodeling their existing home or moving to a different one. Participants had lived in their current home (an average home value of $422,000) for an average of 8.5 years.
