Ralph Thomas and his wife Carolee of Beverly Hills, Calif. purchased this 6,711 square-foot home with 700 square-foot pool originally built in 1981 in the Finisterre Area of Paradise Valley northeast of the Camelback Mountain-Echo Canyon Recreation Area. The sellers were Robert W. Mason and Eloise A. Mason, as Trustees of the Robert W. Mason and Eloise A. Mason Trust. Robert Mason is a former CIO of Cendant Corp. who became vice president/CIO of Avnet Inc. in March 2002.

Donald Haggen and his wife Kathryn of Bellingham, Wash. paid cash for this new home in the Cochise/Geronimo Village at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale at the Desert Mountain-Geronimo Golf Course, which includes a $325,000 deferred equity golf membership. Donald Haggen is the former president, CEO and still an owner of the Haggen Co., a chain of grocery and pharmacy stores in Washington and Oregon. Kingston West LLC, an Arizona Limited Liability Company whose sole member is Robert E. Webster of the Bayfield Development Co. in Wilmington, Mass., sold the home.

Daniel L. Schayes and his wife Wendy of Scottsdale purchased this 5,171 square-foot home originally built in 2002. Daniel Schayes played in the NBA for 18 years before becoming an entrepreneur and a TV Broadcaster for TNT and the Seattle Super Sonics. Gregory D. Hague sold this home in the Mazi Acres Area of Paradise Valley just west of the Gainey Ranch Golf Club. Hague is president and CEO of Hague Inc., a real estate investment firm that specializes in high-end homes mainly in Paradise Valley.

This 5,508 square-foot home with 411 square-foot pool originally built in 2005 was purchased for cash by Christopher Harding and Vicki Henry of Greenwood Village, Colo., as Co-Trustees of the Christopher Harding Trust. Shawn Johnstun and his wife Dawn sold the home in the Desert Mountain Area of Scottsdale on the west side of the Desert Mountain-Cochise Golf Course.

This 7,140 square-foot house with 486 square-foot pool originally built in 2005 was bought for cash by Michael L. Kapanicas and his wife Vivian of Phoenix. Michael Kapanicas is president of Superpumper Inc., a chain of 12 gasoline service stations in Phoenix and Scottsdale. R. Phillip Rasmussen, The founder of Utah-based Amsco Windows, and his wife Linda sold this home in Hidden Paradise Area of Paradise Valley on the west side of Camelback Golf Club. Last year the Rasmussens sold the Author of the bestselling memoir How To Make Love Like a Porn Star, Jenna Jameson and her husband, John Grdina, a 10,000 square-foot residence in Paradise Valley for $4.5 million.
